The usual stuff

I had grown tired of flying in a flock, never seeing further than some other pigeon's fluttering wings. I never seemed to chose the directions, I went with the flow. I couldn't see the sky, I couldn't see the earth below.

I wanted to have room enough to spread my wings, space enough to chose my own way, time enough to float by and watch the world live beneath me.

Now I'm on my own and I just don't know what to do with myself. I still can't see the sky. I had forgotten about the clouds.
